Event Review | Fanhar Electronics Concludes a Successful Run at Enlit Africa 2026

May 19–21, 2026 – The 24th edition of Enlit Africa successfully concluded at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in South Africa. As the most influential annual event in Africa's power sector, this edition was co-organized by Eskom and South Africa's Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC), bringing together industry experts, procurers, and technology suppliers from numerous countries and regions.

Fanhar, a professional latching relay manufacturer and power relay supplier, showcased multiple self-developed core power electronics products at Booth B35, earning broad attention over the three-day exhibition and taking another solid step forward in its commitment to the African market.

Product Highlights at Booth B35

At Fanhar's booth, a physical product display area was set up, highlighting power relays and electric latching relays designed for smart grid, renewable energy generation, and industrial control applications. These products feature high withstand voltage, low coil power consumption, long mechanical life, and strong contact switching capability. They are widely used in PV inverters, energy storage systems, smart meters, charging piles, and intelligent power distribution terminals – attracting many local African power utilities, meter manufacturers, and system integrators for in-depth discussions.

Addressing Africa’s Energy Transition

Africa is now at a critical juncture of electrification and clean energy transition. South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa are vigorously advancing grid modernization, large-scale smart meter deployment, and rapid penetration of distributed PV and energy storage systems. This drives growing demand for high-reliability, low-coil-power electric latching relays and power relays. Leveraging more than a decade of technical expertise and stable manufacturing capabilities in the relay field, Fanhar precisely addresses Africa's urgent need for high-quality relays.

Customer Engagement & Cooperation

During the exhibition, the Fanhar team held in-depth discussions with customers from multiple countries and reached several preliminary cooperation intentions. Customers highly appreciated the performance parameters, test results, and customization capabilities of Fanhar's relays. Through this participation, Fanhar gained a deeper understanding of technical standards and procurement requirements across different African countries, laying a solid foundation for future localized technical support and fast delivery in South Africa.
